Where to Start?

You may have noticed that I tend to approach things in unconventional ways. For instance, just by considering me for a role at your company, you've already saved yourself US$4,425 (average cost per hire according to Zippia). If you were to ask a recruiting manager about the ideal candidate for a position at a prestigious wine company, my profile probably wouldn't come to mind.

Driven by my curiosity, I've acquired diverse skills and traveled the world, transitioning from a sommelier to a marketing consultant. What began as a passionate hobby has evolved into a career that blends my love for wine with digital marketing. It has been more than twelve years of working in the wine industry and digital marketing.  

While working as a consultant has allowed me to undertake various projects and collaborate with different clients; it is very restricted what I can do as a one-man show. I aspire to build a meaningful brand and forge deep connections with customers, touching their hearts.

Digital marketing is a passion of mine, and I'm excited about the prospect of developing successful strategies for your brand. By delving into customer behavior and understanding their triggers, I can craft compelling campaigns from scratch, leveraging predictive models to engage high-value, loyal customers. The wine industry lags far behind the tech sector in terms of digital marketing, making the combination of wine expertise and digital skills a rare and valuable asset. My particular blend of these skills can provide a significant competitive advantage to any organization I work with. I take ownership of every project I undertake, consistently going above and beyond my assigned responsibilities.  

My previous work experience includes an innovative approach to digital marketing, including strategies for more effective search and display campaigns, customer segmentation, and customization based on CLV. In addition, I’ve created strategies for improving marketing automation and transparency in communication among my client’s team.

Regarding my leadership style, I am transparent, a motivator, and an inspirer (see Insights Discovery). My friends and past colleagues have described me as the person they'd want to be stuck in a zombie apocalypse. You can always count on me to find a solution for a problem (mostly like “What Macgyver would do?” approach), wine or movie advice, or merely a mentorship. My door is always open. I am a constant learner who enjoys sharing knowledge and ideas with my team members.

In summary, I can collaborate with the team with a different and uplifting vibe (regardless of my dry sense of humor) and bring substantial work experience with an innovative approach to digital marketing and customer-centricity.
